The juices can be consumed in any order throughout the day - mix it up! Feel free to add ice to your juices should you wish.

We recommend that you drink a juice every 2-3 hours. 

The liver does most of its work at night so it is vital to hydrate and flush out toxins first thing. We recommend hot water with lemon, fresh ginger and a pinch of cayenne pepper – zing!

We encourage you to sip & savour every mouthful of your juice – they’re delicious after all! Follow each juice with a glass of water to cleanse your pallet. Try to drink at least 1.5 litres of water everyday. 

Organisation is key - try to make sure that you have your juices to hand if you’re going out for the day.

Even if you find that you’re not all that hungry, drink all of your juices each day at regular intervals. This ensures a steady flow of nutrients to the body, avoiding any peaks or sudden hunger attacks. 

Dentists recommend drinking your juice through a straw to protect your teeth and gums. They also advise that you do not brush your teeth within 30 minutes of drinking a juice.

If you experience severe hunger pangs drink a glass of water and then distract yourself for 30 minutes to check that you were not just thirsty. Hunger is often mistaken for thirst. If you just can’t shake off those feelings of hunger then reach for a small banana, half a ripe avocado or a handful of almonds. 

Enjoy herbal teas often throughout your cleanse. Peppermint, lemon, fennel, nettle & ginger are especially recommended.

You may notice that you urinate more frequently due to the sheer volume of liquid that you are consuming. Please do not be alarmed.

Your stools may change in colour. This is perfectly normal and down to the sheer quantity of ingredients in the juices like beetroot, red cabbage and all the leafy greens.

You may experience fatigue, headaches, low blood sugar, constipation or diarrhoea, increased body odour, a furry tongue or bad breath. Yikes! However, most of these side effects are temporary and should be embraced. This is your body doing what you have asked it to do - detoxify. Increasing your water intake can help alleviate many of these symptoms.  You will soon experience the benefits of juicing and will be thankful that you didn’t give up. 

Ideally it is best to avoid exercise whilst cleansing, largely because calorie consumption is likely to be reduced. Especially if it is your first time embarking on a juice cleanse. If you are keen to exercise, then we recommend you choose to have a Nutrition Guru advise and monitor you throughout your cleanse to ensure you support the body safely Just listen to your body. Don't over exert yourself. This is no time to try marathon running. Just remember to listen to your body and don't exert yourself. This is no time to take up marathon running!

Try and get to bed by 10pm each evening and aim for a solid 8 or 9 hours sleep each night.

We recommend that you abstain from smoking and drinking alcohol throughout your cleanse.

Following your cleanse, reintroduce foods slowly. Begin with salads and soups and try to eat clean for as long as possible. Try to incorporate as many fresh fruits and vegetables into your diet as possible.

Try replacing one meal a day or your snacks with a juice as you ease out of your cleanse. Our juices are available just for this purpose.
